“It was a pleasure to join with members of GCRE at their recent gathering to discuss important happenings in the local real estate industry,” said Hempstead Town Supervisor Don Clavin.  “The combined knowledge of those in attendance was incredible, and I am grateful to have been a part of such an informative meeting.”

Following the Supervisor’s remarks, Dennis Donnelly was introduced to the audience where he outlined the transformation of businesses within the Village post-Covid highlighting the arrival of several new restaurants and other service providers joining the Village community including Sweet Greens salad coming to the former BGood space, Pizza G, Four/Five Coffee coming to the former HSBC bank space, a new Mediterranean restaurant (no name disclosed) coming to the former Gross Jewelers space, Mesita Mexican Cuisine, Relash, Dental 365, Macri Dental, Nobelesse Nail Spa, Valley National Bank, and Burn Boot Camp.   Sadly noted, Walk Street Restaurant will be closing and the owners of Leo’s Bar will be renovating the space and bringing a new concept restaurant to 7th Street.

Mr. Donnelly stated ” I was honored to be the featured speaker at the GCRE event.  Discussing news about the business community and the Chamber afforded me with the opportunity to showcase all that is great about Garden City.”

In an effort to continue GCRE’s support of the Village and its residents, Farkas announced a $2,500 sponsorship of the Chamber of Commerce’s Easter Classic Car Parade this April 17th at 9 AM.
